Hi, my name is Julie, and as an over-50 woman myself, I understand the challenges this phase of life brings!
Entering midlife, I have discovered that my body works a little differently than it did in my 20s and 30s. I have had to adapt and change how I do things to stay healthy. I realized that most women over 40 and over 50 do not fully understand why their bodies function differently than they did in their youth. They also do not know what to do to stay on that path of staying active and strong, maintaining a healthy weight and staying in overall good health. My desire is to help other women accomplish all of this, and know that they are not alone! As a lifelong learner, I am constantly taking in new information, so I share topics that are relevant. I have a balanced and realistic view of what it means to be fit and beautiful in midlife.
I will be covering current trends, sharing down-to-earth tips and tricks, reviewing products, and providing wellness, beauty and fitness advice catered for the over-40 woman, and the over-50 woman. Really, Cherry Fox Fitness is for women of any age who want to stay youthful and active. Most importantly, I hope I can help you navigate this phase of your life, and help you create an enjoyable journey on your path towards valuing yourself, understanding your worth, and enjoying your life more than ever before!
A little background on me: I am an experienced fitness professional, having specialized in training women in group and one-on-one settings since 2004. Over the years, I have helped numerous clients achieve their fitness and health goals through in-person, one-on-one personal training, as well as in-person group training. I am a past and current fitness facility owner, and have run numerous bootcamps over the years, specializing in weight loss and fitness improvement for women. I have earned certifications in personal training, and am certified in multiple group fitness formats, which I particularly love.
I believe that the path to health is achievable for anyone with the desire to learn and make changes to their lives. I feel that educating, motivating, and encouraging women in their fitness journeys is one of my callings in life.
In addition to fitness, exercise, and all things health and wellness, I enjoy reading, music, crafting, and being outside. I most enjoy doing things with my family.
